Mental health matters.
Lindsay Taylor Dellinger places great care in providing detailed, factual information about some of life’s toughest subjects, including physical and emotional abuse and dual diagnosis, the co-occurrence of substance use and mental health disorders.
Approximately 70 million people worldwide have an eating disorder, including 5.5 million Americans. Lindsay researches and writes comprehensive material for the population affected by this widespread mental illness. From how their loved ones can help to how the various eating disorders are treated, Lindsay describes the necessary treatment steps and more.
Travel.
Lindsay’s creative and informative work has reached lands near and far. From seventeen fantastic hotels on beaches in the Yucatán to the mountains of North Georgia, one of Lindsay’s favorite subjects is travel. This is evident through her playful and descriptive writing.
She has traveled extensively herself, including two solo trips to Peru and Japan and her most recent adventure in Europe, where she traveled by train through Italy and Switzerland before landing in Spain. She lived in the Andalusian region of Southern Spain for two months.
Coffee…and Wine.
But first, coffee. Right? Grab a cuppa Joe before you take a trip through the history of Java – Lindsay’s fun 5-part series for home goods company Ecletticos. Or maybe you’ve been interested in giving mushroom coffee a try? In the mood for a new espresso machine? Lindsay spills the beans (sorry, we couldn’t help ourselves) on Australia’s top 5 best automatic espresso machines.
Lindsay also lends her experience and knowledge to the wine industry. Having traveled throughout California’s wine country often and being a proud member of a handful of wine clubs, Lindsay knows her vino. She has ghostwritten several articles on the topic and posted extensively about what she deems “The Beverage of the Gods.”
Miscellaneous.
Lindsay has extended her editing and writing skills to many other industries, including art, fashion, food, yoga, and tiny-home living.
She was formerly a fashion industry Art Director and graphic designer, working with well-known brands, such as Disney, Hello Kitty, and Ed Hardy, throughout the course of her eighteen-year career.
With a degree in fashion design and an appreciation for all things art, including interior design, she and her partner built their tiny home on wheels inside of a 1992 International school bus. The entire process, from gutting to finished product, took less than two years, and the result is what Lindsay calls “Industrial Bohemian.”
Lindsay is a self-proclaimed foodie and oenophile who loves doing yoga.
